Are you a part of an organization that wants to help with CiC?

We love partnering with other groups to get the word out about our CiC campaign! This week, we're working with the South Asian MBA Association (SAMBAA) for a happy hour at Chelsea Manor with part of the proceeds going to CiC.

If you are part of an organization that would like to partner with NetIP NY with this charity initiative, please email netipnychair1@netip-ny.org for more info!

Think Change & CiC Launch!

Thank you for helping to make our CiC Launch Lunch, where we announced our "Empower Through Education" campaign a HUGE success! NetIP-NY is excited to partner with UNICEF Schools for Asia program and is striving to raise a $100,000 for Education. Over 50 guests enjoyed a wonderful 3 course lunch at the Michelin star rated Tulsi Restaurant, and helped raise several hundred dollars towards a great cause! Renita Bakshi, Co-President of NetIP-NY, introduced "Think Change" and "CiC", while Digant Dave (Co-President of NetIP-NY) talked about the importance of education and giving back.

Ananda Grant from UNICEF, US Foundation was on-hand to present information about UNICEF's Schools for Asia program, as part of their greater mission to aid the children of the world, and reduce preventable child deaths from 21,000 a day to 0. Sahara ONE was there to cover the event and and a special thanks to Surbhi Sahni from Bittersweet NYC for presenting complimentary sweets to all of our attendees.
Several upcoming events, including our Networking Happy Hour with South Asian MBA Association (SAMBAA) on April 19th, and evening with Preet Bharara on May 8th, co-sponsored by Columbia Business School Alumni Association, were also announced.
Stay tuned to NetIP-NY's website and our Facebook page, for more info.

FAQs for CiC

1. I want to help out and create a fundraising page! Where do I do that?
Just go to our event page at FirstGiving and click on "Fundraise." Once you set up your profile information, you're ready to go!

2. I want to donate to the cause, but not to a specific fundraiser. What do I do?
You can definitely donate to the general donations page.

3. Can I collect cash or check donations?
Definitely! In your FirstGiving home page, you will see a button called "Add an offline donation." Fill out the form so that the amount is credited to your total amount raised.

4. If I collect cash from someone, what do I do with it?
You should contact a NetIP Board member to hand the cash in and make a note of exactly how much you received. The amount you hand in and the amount you report in FirstGiving should be exactly the same.

5. If I collect a check from someone, what do I do with it?
You can either drop it off to a Netip-NY E-board member, or send it to the following address:
Network of Indian Professionals (c/o Ritu Singh)
ATTN: CiC New York
7526 Wakefield Lane
Apt. E
Maineville, OH 45039

6. Who should I make a check out to?
All checks should be made out to "Network of Indian Professionals Foundation," NOT NetIP-NY. If you are contributing to a specific fundraiser, make sure his/her full name is in the memo line on the check.
